Angela Simmons of GUHH Shares Snaps of Lookalike Son Sutton Posing in a Cute Shirt
Angela Simmons of "Growing Up Hip Hop" shares a new picture of her adorable son amid quarantine as they appreciated the sunset together.
Angela Simmons' ray of sunshine is her son, Sutton Tennyson Jr., who has been keeping her company at home. The proud mom shared pictures of her son appreciating the sunset at home, as he flashed a huge smile at the camera while dressed in a cute orange shirt.
According to Angela, her son is "proof of real life," and the fact that they get to enjoy the sunset together is hope during such uncertain times. However, it hasn't always been this warm and easy for the mother-and-son duo, as they had to deal with the death of Sutton's dad in 2018.

SUTTON TENNYSON SR.'S DEATH
Sutton Tennyson Sr. was killed inside his open garage in Atlanta in November 2018. Police investigations reported that shots were fired after a fight between him and another male escalated. After multiple shots were heard, the suspect fled through a car.
While showing him pictures and videos of the past, their son suddenly asked her: "Is he alive?"
PROMISING TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR CHILD
When Simmons heard the news, he made sure to share a tribute to him on Instagram, expressing her heartbreak. She then made a vow to her ex-fiance that she would take care of their child in every way she can.
"Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift. I'm hurting. I'm numb. Thank you for the outpouring of love everyone. I can't believe I'm even saying Rest In Peace, Sutton. I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise."
TEACHING THEIR SON ABOUT HIS DAD
As their son is growing up quickly, the "Growing Up Hip Hop" star was left in tears after SJ asked about his father. During an episode of the reality TV show, Simmons is seen talking to life coach Chenoa Maxwell when she detailed how she's been introducing the late Sutton Sr. to his son.
While showing him pictures and videos of the past, their son suddenly asked her: "Is he alive?" This took her by surprise especially since her son wasn't exactly fully conversational at the point, nor does he frequently say the word "alive."
"He’s a happy kid, and that whole day, he was mopey and sad. It was super hard to have that conversation with him."
Angela gets by with help from her family, who has been extra supportive in raising Sutton Jr. Through it all, they've given the "Growing Up Hip Hop" star a helping hand and that's made all the difference for her.
