Ivanka Trump Pays Tribute to Mom Ivana with Rare Photos on Mother's Day

Ivanka Trump acknowledged her mother, Ivana's parenting efforts, with a series of throwback pictures which she shared in a sweet social media post.

Ivanka Trump warmed the hearts of her millions of followers when she posted a series of throwback images that showed her mother, Ivana, helping her at different points in life.

According to Daily Mail, the first daughter shared the post as a way to mark the 2020 Mother's Day celebrations, with the caption:

"Happy Mother's Day to all the Superwomen out there, especially those who may not be able to receive a warm embrace from their children today."

Ivanka, who shares her three children with her husband, Jared Kushner, added that she was grateful to her mother for giving her and her siblings love and life.

Ivana is also a dancer as she made a surprise appearance on the ninth episode of "Ballando Con Le Stelle" – which is an Italian version of "Dancing with the Stars."

Although it was uploaded a little over 24 hours ago, the post has already garnered over 300,000 likes and nearly 5,000 comments.

It would be recalled that Ivanka's mother was married to the current President of the United States, Donald Trump, between 1977 and 1992. She is also the mother of three of the President's children – Ivanka, Donald Trump Jr., and Eric Trump.

While it appeared that their marriage was a good one on all fronts, Ivana begged to differ as she released a book, "Raising Trump," that addressed her life and marriage.

The Guardian reported that the 71-year-old wrote that her marriage was over back in December 1989 when a "young blonde woman approached me out of the blue and said 'I'm Marla and I love your husband. Do you?'"

It didn't take long before news of Donald's affair with the actress and TV personality hit the tabloids and his marriage to Ivana over.

Besides being an author, Town & Country Magazine noted that Ivana is also a dancer as she made a surprise appearance on the ninth episode of "Ballando Con Le Stelle" – which is an Italian version of "Dancing with the Stars."

The site also pointed out that Ivana is a former model who started her career in front of the camera in her native land, former Czechoslovakia. Her vocation, however, didn't take off until she moved to Canada with her first husband, Alfred Winklmayr.

As regards her relationship with Donald's current wife, Melania Trump, Bustle reported that there's no love lost between the duo as Ivana has often made her distaste when it comes to Melania known.

In fact, during an interview, Ivana made it clear that she felt bad for the First Lady.
