The first picture of the slideshow showed Bryson and his wife, Tanya Boniface, standing side by side, staring lovingly into each other's eyes with bright smiles gracing their faces.
The other pictures featured him with his son and Tanya with his son. He also shared a beautiful selfie of Tanya and one last snapshot of he and his wife with their son.
Bryson had a heart attack just a year after he and Tanya welcomed their son.
On April 27, 2019, a tragedy struck the Bryson household. He suffered a heart attack while in bed beside Tanya. Her attentiveness and quick response were what played a significant part in saving his life.
That day at two in the morning, Tanya was still awake when her husband crawled back into bed at their Marietta, Georgia home. But soon, she noticed an odd alternation in his breathing and sprung to action. She said:
"I only noticed because I heard him breathing. It didn't sound right. I leaned over and realized he was non-responsive."
She hurriedly dialed 911 and informed the emergency operator that her husband was not breathing. They quickly concluded that he had a heart attack, and Tanya was instructed to start performing CPR on her husband until help arrived.
In record time, first responders arrived at their home and quickly transported him to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where he was hospitalized and soon declared to be responsive.
The Grammy award-winner recovered, and a month later, he and his proactive angel, Tanya, made a special visit to Cobb County Fire Station 3 in Atlanta, to personally thank the first responders who saved his life during the ordeal.
Bryson had the heart attack just a year after he and Tanya welcomed their son, Robert, into the world on New Year's eve, ushering the happy family into 2018.
Bryson and his family have put the horrid ordeal behind them and in the past and have continued to live together in harmony.
