Rosie O'Donnell Says She Doesn't Watch 'The View' Anymore Because It Upsets' Her

Speaking about the ABC daytime talk show she used to co-host, the TV personality said: "I don't watch it anymore because it upsets me, and because I think it's been dumbed-down a lot."
Rosie was terrified after she stepped out of her New Jersey weekend home for the first time in two months.
Rosie added that the show seemed very different from what it used to be as they used to have "much more of a real conversation happening live."
The comedian, actress, and author also admitted that even though she provided the show with a political aspect during her era, there were specific topics that were off-limits.
People recalled that Rosie joined "The View" in 2006 when she replaced Meredith Vieira as the moderator. She, however, left a year later after she had an on-air faceoff with her co-host, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, about the Iraq War.
She then rejoined the daytime show as a co-host in 2014, but left again after a six-month run, in February 2015, to focus on her family. ET Canada noted that the show is currently run by Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, and Meghan McCain.
Amid talks of her interview, Page Six reported that Rosie was terrified after she stepped out of her New Jersey weekend home for the first time in two months.
The decision to leave the house was prompted by the need to go for an annual heart test following the heart attack she suffered in 2012. If not for the urgency of the test, the actress would have continued quarantining like many others.
During the quarantine, brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, Rosie has become rather fond of eating junk food, especially Pop-Tarts.
While speaking to Page Six, the actress stated that she asked somebody to buy some Po-Tarts and the person ended up purchasing 40 boxes. The "A League of Their Own" star, however, noted that:
"It started to get really sad when I realized there were only about half the boxes left."
Due to the gravity of the pandemic, the actress, whose life is in New York City, has expressed that she isn't sure she would be going back home anytime soon.
