SENIOR CITIZENS PARADE
Northbrooke, a Jackson senior living center, wanted to do something remarkable for their residents who were worried about not seeing their families due to COVID-19. To impress the aged residents, they organized their first-ever drive-thru parade.
The two almost called it quit once, but they came back together, stronger than ever
The event, which was a family parade, had different families in attendance while cars did a ceremonial drive-thru. The occasion also had colorful balloons left off into the air to represent citizens letting go of their fears.
SNOOP'S UPCOMING PERFORMANCE
Northbrooke's activity director, Connie Ables, said: "Families really enjoyed it. They were so excited…" The Northbrooke family parade led up to "granny," seizing the opportunity to share her wish with the public.
However, the senior lady might end up getting her request as the West Coast rapper is scheduled to perform at Jackson in July, pending the battle against the novel coronavirus.
