Tamela Mann Flaunts Slimmer Curves in Black Midi Skirt after Recent 50-Pound Weight Loss
Tamela Mann shocked many of her fans when she posted a new picture of herself via her and her husband, David Mann's joint Instagram page.
Even though Tamela Mann has been on a weight loss journey for the last few months, her fans had no idea how much progress she had made until she made a recent post.
The gospel singer and actress post came with a promotional message and a jaw-dropping image of her looking slimmer.
[Tamela and David Mann] revealed that their union has survived for such a long time as a result of their rule of sharing everything.
Tamela looked ready to take on the world as she smiled, raised her hands in the air, and rocked a black midi skirt in the image that has garnered over 40,000 likes.
Even her comments were overflowing with compliments from her followers, with one person calling her a "Queen" who is inspirational and healthy.
Another person told Tamela that she was looking "fantastic" while a third fan exclaimed, "Wow omg congratulations," and a fourth follower told her she that she is "starting to age backward." Several other followers dropped love emojis to celebrate the singer's weight loss progress.
Just last year, Prevention reported that Tamela had joined the WW (formerly known as Weight Watchers) community as an Ambassador. That move seemed to go in line with her plan to start living a healthier lifestyle in 2019.
Barely six months into the WW program, the 53-year-old revealed that she was about 40 pounds down.
The "Meet the Browns" actress said that she had learned how to portion her meals, which caused her to cut her turkey sandwiches "in half to make it into two meals."
Tamela has since lost over 50 pounds, which she revealed during a virtual episode of Oprah Winfrey Network's "Girlfriends Check In." The "Take Me to the King" crooner informed viewers that she had infused exercise into her diet.
During another conversation with Essence's "Yes, Girl!" podcast in December 2019, Tamela disclosed that she couldn't have done well on the journey without the support of her husband, David Mann. The gospel crooner told the podcast's hosts that:
"I just really thank God for the encouragement that he's given me, and the encouraging words, 'you're doing it.'"
The couple, who celebrated 32 years of marriage last year, have been tagged #couplegoals by many of their fans.
