Unexpected: Phil Robertson's Family Reacts to News about His Long-Lost Daughter

Phil Robertson’s family has taken to social media to react to the news of his long-lost daughter, who has joined the “Duck Dynasty” clan. They happily welcomed the 45-year-old with several heartwarming posts.

The “Duck Dynasty” crew has gotten bigger, and the clan is more than happy to receive a long-lost member.

According to ET Online, after patriarch Phil Robertson revealed that he recently reconnected with a long-lost daughter from an affair he had, other family members took to social media to welcome her.

In the latest episode of Phil’s podcast, “Unashamed,” the reality star recounted how he found out he had a daughter. The 74-year-old explained that he had an affair in the 70s,

First in line was Phil’s granddaughter Sadie who welcomed the 45-year-old daughter on an Instagram story she captioned, “the bigger, the better.” Then came Korie, Sadie’s mom, who uploaded a photo of her sisters-in-law, including Phyliss posing for the camera on the beach.

In the accompanying caption, she explained that she just found out alongside the rest of the world that her husband Wille has a new sister. She joked about the Robertson men being “finally outnumbered” before writing:

“Welcome to the fam, Phyllis; I promise it’s never boring.”

Sadie's dad, Willie also joined in on the fun with a family photo in what looked like a restaurant saying it was so good finding his long-lost sister before welcoming her “to the nuttiest family around.”

Willie’s brother, Jase, took the celebration further as he uploaded a solo photo of him and Phyliss and calling her “awesome” in the caption.

It will be recalled by ET Online, that in the latest episode of Phil’s podcast, “Unashamed,” the reality star recounted how he found out he had a daughter. The 74-year-old explained that he had an affair in the 70s, which resulted in Phyliss’ birth.

His son Al, who joined in on the podcast, explained the situation, saying that a woman reached out saying that through DNA search, she believed Phil was her dad.

While they first dismissed the allegation, they decided to investigate and found out that there might be an element of truth. They decided to take a DNA test, and they found out that Phyliss was a 99.9 percent match.

While it’s not sure if Phyliss will join the popular show, there is no doubt she will be receiving a lot of love from one of America’s famous families.
