CHEERS TO OLIVER JUNIOR
The happy granny didn't hold anything back as she gushed over the little one on her page. Beauvais shared a charming clip of the toddler lying on a rainbow blanket and wiggling his litter legs. Garcelle captioned the post:
"One of the reasons we are fighting for equality #mygrandson #Oliverjunior...I want him to have every opportunity he deserves."
Fans were delighted by Oliver Junior's heartwarming video, and they made their thoughts known in the comments. Someone wrote: "Oh My! He's an angel!" while another admirer thought Oliver was a bundle of joy!
KEEPING UP WITH BEAUVAIS
Last year, the actress became the newest member of Bravo TV's "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." The milestone achievement also made her the first black regular on the show. For a while now, fans have noted that Garcelle is quite open about her life.
For her, being a grandmother is a "badge of honor."
In the latest episode of "RHOBH," the "NYPD Blue" star spoke candidly about her oldest son, Oliver's addiction. The 53-year-old became emotional as she explained that she and her ex-husband, David Saunders were there for him and provided money, but Oliver still struggled.
MOTHERHOOD AND CO-PARENTING
Besides Oliver, Garcelle has two other sons with her ex-husband Mike Nilon. She and Mike ended their marriage due to allegations of infidelity, but co-parenting seems to be an excellent thing for them.
Once in an interview, the "Franklin & Bash" actress stated that she wanted her twin boys, Jax and Jaid, to enjoy enough time with both parents, and that worked out fine.
HANDLING THE PANDEMIC
It is no doubt that Garcelle is a dedicated mom and grandma, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she has had to stay away from her toddler grandson. On an episode of RHOBH, the socialite revealed that social distancing was beginning to tell on her.
Beauvais complained about not being able to hold him as she added that she wanted Oliver Jr. to recognize her voice. For her, being a grandmother is a "badge of honor."
