Robin Roberts Poses with Her Adopted Dog Lil Man Lukas That Has Its Instagram Own Page

Robin Roberts is a known dog lover. The "Good Morning America" anchor has spent the last few days showing off her Tibetan spaniel-papillon mix, Lukas, who has its own Instagram page.

There are dog lovers, and there is the unique fondness TV anchor Robin Roberts has for her furry pets, which her fans have grown accustomed to over the years.

Roberts is particularly in love with her Tibetan spaniel-papillon mix, Lukas, whom she adopted together with her partner of many years, Amber Laign, back in 2015. Lukas is so unique; he has his own personal Instagram page.

Since adopting Lil Man Lukas back in 2015, the duo has grown inseparable. The TV personality regularly takes to her Instagram page to show off some adorable moments with her pet dog.

Roberts recently shared a cute picture with her dog. In the photo, the GMA anchor can be seen carrying Lukas on her thighs while sitting on a chair. She shared the image, writing in the caption:

"Soooo happy my 'pawducer' was back in the home studio this morn!"

In another post, Robin Roberts shared a cute video of Lil Man Lukas standing next to her as she gave another inspiring message on her thankful Thursday series.

Amid the ongoing self-isolation, the 59-year-old news anchor has had partner Amber Laign, to call upon when setting up her home for the virtual broadcast of her morning show on ABC network.

Amber was immediately drawn to Lukas.

Shortly before adopting Lukas, Robert lost her Jack Russell terrier, KJ, in February 2015. KJ was about 18 years old when she passed on, and the deeply sad anchor announced the news.

She penned down a touching tribute in honor of KJ, which means "Killer Jack." In her lengthy message, she recalled the special moments they shared and revealed her sadness at his passing.

It was no surprise that Roberts was reluctant to adopt a new dog later that year when co-host Lara Spencer took her and Amber to North Shore Animal League America in Port Washington, New York.

Roberts' lover Amber who had previously lost her dog, Frances, a beagle-shepherd mix in 2013, was immediately drawn to Lukas, and the couple decided to adopt him.

While KJ still holds a special place in the heart of the veteran journalist, she is enjoying every moment with her new dog pal, and her fans are grateful she is sharing that journey with them through her posts.
