Fans have continued to praise Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, following his decision to step down as a board member at Reddit.

Hence, when Serena shared an image of her and her man on her Instagram page, it didn’t take long for it to gain over 300,000 likes and thousands of comments.

Alexis, who shares 2-year-old Olympia, with the tennis star previously won the hearts of many when he highlighted the importance of dads taking paternity leave.

The comment section was filled with words of praise for the Reddit co-founder as one stated that they loved how Alexis “shook the table.”

One person added that the duo had put a smile on the face of people, while a third person noted that Alexis had made a “boss move.”

Many others also pointed out that the tennis legend was married to a “real one” and that they now understood why she fell in love with him.

Despite the praise, there were a few people who claimed that Serena had “forced” her husband to donate his future gains from Reddit to the black community. An accusation that Daily Mail recently reported that the mother of one has already addressed.

In a sit down with Alexis, Serena explained that even though they had talked about the idea as a couple, it was her husband who ultimately decided to donate to the black community.

It would be recalled that the news of Alexis' decision became public after Harper’s Bazaar reported that he shared a statement to his website and uploaded video to his Instagram page.

The internet entrepreneur used the clip to call on his followers to do their bit to "fix our broken nation while stating that had encouraged his Reddit coworkers to:

“Fill my seat with a Black candidate, and I will use future gains on my Reddit stock to serve the Black community, chiefly to curb racial hate.”

Soon after the news went live, Hollywood Life noted that Serena reacted with a tweet that read, “Having diverse views on any boards is important. So proud of you, Alexis.”

Alexis, who shares 2-year-old Olympia, with the tennis star previously won the hearts of many when he highlighted the importance of dads taking paternity leave.

According to Oprah Magazine, the 37-year-old admitted that his 16-week paid paternity helped him to start "on the right foot" as a new father.
