Many others also pointed out that the tennis legend was married to a “real one” and that they now understood why she fell in love with him.

Despite the praise, there were a few people who claimed that Serena had “forced” her husband to donate his future gains from Reddit to the black community. An accusation that Daily Mail recently reported that the mother of one has already addressed.

In a sit down with Alexis, Serena explained that even though they had talked about the idea as a couple, it was her husband who ultimately decided to donate to the black community.

It would be recalled that the news of Alexis' decision became public after Harper’s Bazaar reported that he shared a statement to his website and uploaded video to his Instagram page.

The internet entrepreneur used the clip to call on his followers to do their bit to "fix our broken nation while stating that had encouraged his Reddit coworkers to:

“Fill my seat with a Black candidate, and I will use future gains on my Reddit stock to serve the Black community, chiefly to curb racial hate.”

Soon after the news went live, Hollywood Life noted that Serena reacted with a tweet that read, “Having diverse views on any boards is important. So proud of you, Alexis.”

Alexis, who shares 2-year-old Olympia, with the tennis star previously won the hearts of many when he highlighted the importance of dads taking paternity leave.
