Boris Kodjoe's Wife Nicole Compares Their Daughter Sophie and Playwright Ntozake Shange's Expressions
Nicole Parker, the wife of famous actor Boris Kodjoe, let her fans in on a bit of the self-reflecting that has been going on in her home.
Over the weekend, the actress and model shared a picture of her daughter, Sophie, on Instagram. The photo was a collage, and it featured two snaps of Sophie and famous American playwright, Ntozake Shange.
Ntozake Shange is a playwright and poet who has identified as a black feminist. Her work is acclaimed for addressing issues of racial and gender equality. As Nicole's picture showed, the facial expressions between Sophie and Ntozake are quite similar.

Nicole went on to explain that she and Sophie had just engaged in a discussion about the world. Although she didn't say much about what they spoke about, Sophie's facial expression does point to the fact that they had a pretty intense conversation. In her captions, Nicole explained:
"Last night, after a long discussion about the world...she hit me with that Ntozake look at the dinner table...#ForColoredGirlsFriday?❤️?????"
Like many, the actress has been quite vocal recently about the racial tensions across the United States. In the wake of the demonstrations and police killings, many people have lent their voices. At the same time, Nicole appears to have had that discussion with her daughter as well.
Apart from being life partners, Boris and Nicole also work together.
Nicole and Boris have a claim to being one of the cutest black couples in Hollywood. The couple got married in 2005, and their marriage appears to be just as strong after 15 years and two children.
The couple met on the set of the 2000 hit drama "Soul Food." On their first meeting, Parker said to reporters years ago that she thought Boris was a really hot guy.
Ever since they met in the early 2000s, they worked together and began to date in 2002. They got married eventually, and the rest is history.
Apart from being life partners, Boris and Nicole also work together. They got their own project, "The Boris and Nicole Show," in 2015 on 20th Television.
Through the show, the couple spoke on their experiences in life and marriages. However, it doesn't appear that it's still on. Whether or not they appear on TV together, the two seem to still be smitten with each other.
