People: Pregnant Katy Perry Decorates Her Daughter's Nursery a Few Weeks before Giving Birth
Katy Perry is getting ready for the birth of her baby girl with actor Orlando Bloom. Given that they can't go anywhere, the couple has been putting the finishing touches to their house.
People Magazine confirmed that the couple is only a few weeks away from the arrival of their child. The news medium explained that both of them are now decorating their nursery for now.
The singer announced that she was expecting a girl earlier this year, and fans have been anticipating it since then.

Now that lockdowns are easing gradually, the couple appears to be going out too. As the source explained, they sometimes leave their Los Angeles home to go to Santa Barbara — Perry's hometown.
While a lot of people have complained about the lockdown, it also appears that Perry appreciates it. The source explained to People Magazine:
"Katy loves that Orlando is not working and that he is around all the time. She is super excited about her baby girl."
Concerning their mental preparations, the source also pointed out that Perry is a bit nervous about the whole thing. At the same time, she's learning to be less stressed.
The nerves are quite understandable since it's Perry's first child. Once again, the source added that Bloom has been very supportive.
Perry also guessed that it was part of dealing with the lockdown.
For now, the couple's work wasn't the only thing that the lockdown and travel restrictions affected. They got engaged last year and were looking towards getting married.
Sadly, the novel coronavirus disrupted their plans to tie the knot in Japan. Still, they see a positive spin to it all.
The couple is reportedly still smitten with each other. The fact that they now have a girl to focus on amid all that is happening makes it all better.
It's also worth noting that the pregnancy experience hasn't been all fun and daisies. Like a lot of women, Perry has experienced some difficulties during the pregnancy period.
Per reports, she appeared on a live stream event last month. There, she explained that some days weren't always as glamorous.
The singer pointed out that sometimes, she cries while doing simple tasks or looking at her toes. She also pointed out that most of it was hormonal, so it wasn't much of a worrisome issue.
Perry also guessed that it was part of dealing with the lockdown. Since she was used to going out all the time, staying home for long was a new experience.
