The first lady of the United States, Melania Trump, visited the country's National Archives, along with Housing and Urban Development Secretary, Ben Carson, and looked gorgeous wearing a red-and-white striped midi dress.
Melania Trump shared pictures from her visit to the US National Archives, where she went to view the Emancipation Proclamation & Charters of Freedom, dressed in a red-and-white gown. In the caption to the post, she wrote:
"Today, @SecretaryCarson & I visited the @USNnatArchives to view the Emancipation Proclamation & Charters of Freedom."
The First Lady also added that the significance behind the documents was an important reminder that America was built on the principles of freedom, liberty, and equality for all.
During the first lady's tour, David Ferriero, who is the Archivist of the US, as well as Maureen MacDonald, the Archivist's Special Assistant, provided Melania and Secretary Carson with details on the significance of the National Archives and its history.
Melania visited the Rotunda. At the Reception Room, the FLOTUS and Secretary Carson also viewed the 13th Amendment, the 19th Amendment, and the 1965 Act that led to the creation of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Ivanka wore a short-sleeved pale blue Proenza Schouler dress that had red floral patterns.
After viewing more historical archives, Melania Trump thanked the National Archives for hosting her and Secretary Carson, and emphasized the importance of the institution to Americans.
As a former model, Melania Trump has hardly went wrong with fashion since her husband, Donald Trump, assumed the position of the President of the United States.
The first lady showed off her fashionista side, once again, when she joined the President for a two-day state visit to India, before the widespread of the COVID-19.
Melania's stepdaughter, Ivanka Trump, also went on the trip. Melania bore a stylish figure, wearing a custom Atelier Caito for Herve Pierre jumpsuit.
She completed her chic look with a green silk sash that was tied around her waist. Ivanka, on the other hand, wore a short-sleeved pale blue Proenza Schouler dress that had red floral patterns.
Recently, the first lady showed off her model figure when she joined the President in Washington on June 2, to pay their respects at the Saint John Paul II National Shrine, with Melania wearing a black midi gown, which she matched with black Manolo Bkahnik BB pumps.
