Miranda Lambert Recalls Growing up with Mom's Cool-Aid Pops on a Dirt Road in East Texas
Miranda Lambert is among the biggest country music stars today, who came from humble beginnings, which she recalled in an Instagram post.
Before becoming a big name in the country music industry, Miranda Lambert was a small-town girl with big dreams.
REMEMBERING THE OLD DAYS
In her recent Instagram post, Lambert shared about the “dirt road in east Texas” she spent her growing years in.

“The closest thing we had to an ice cream truck was mom’s homemade cool-aid freezer pops,” she wrote, adding that she would sometimes get a Dairy Queen blizzard before going home on school days.
Lambert’s post came along with a photo of herself with Brendan McLoughlin standing in front of a New York ice cream truck.
The clip was filmed on the singer’s porch and aired as part of the “CMT Celebrates Our Heroes” television special.
The “Tin Man” artist stopped by to get a rainbow snowcone after hearing the sound of the truck, which she heard and followed.
SPENDING TIME WITH HER MAN
Lambert recently spent time with her partner, navigating through West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York, in their new Airstream Globetrotter.
Their free time to travel came after the singer had to postpone this year’s tours amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“6 days: 4 states: 1000 miles,” she shared. “It was a nice change of pace. Something about the highway is calming, and at the same time keeps you completely focused.”
Their mini-vacation followed a big storm in Nashville that damaged the “Mama’s Broken Heart” artist’s farm.
Lambert, along with many other Nashville locals, had to clean up several trees that fell and toppled over, causing road blockage.
LAMBERT DEDICATES A SONG TO FIRST RESPONDERS
Recently, Lambert gave a virtual performance of the song “Bluebird” to honor the first responders who have been working tirelessly amid the pandemic.
The clip was filmed on the singer’s porch and aired as part of the “CMT Celebrates Our Heroes” television special.
