Daniel Gibson Jr., the son of singer-songwriter Keyshia Cole and her ex-husband, Daniel Gibson, celebrated his father on Father's Day by sharing a picture of them together.

Daniel Gibson was at the receiving end of a cute Father's Day tribute from his son, Daniel Gibson Jr., 10, who shared a cute picture of them rocking matching outfits, and captioned it,

"Happy Father's Day! For every dad."

Daniel Gibson, a former professional basketballer, who starred for the Cleveland Cavaliers for seven seasons, was married to Keyshia Cole from 2011 to 2017.

Following their separation, the ex-couple has gone their separate ways, with Cole going on to date Niko Khale, while Gibson is dating Sinfony Rosales.

There is, however, no chance that the former couple would be getting back together. Gibson made that explicitly clear in a reported chat during an episode of "The Domenick Nati Show," saying there was no chance of them getting back together, and that they only contact each other because they have to co-parent their son.

However, Gibson has no ill will for his ex-wife and only wishes her the best in all that she does. The divorce proceedings between Gibson and Cole dragged on for quite some time without a resolution.

In October 2019, the former couple was ordered to appear before a divorce court or risk being fined if they failed to do so. A Los Angeles Court judge set the hearing for March 16, 2020, with the aim being for Cole and Gibson to wrap up their divorce or risk its dismissal.

Meanwhile, Cole became a mom for the second time when she and her boyfriend, Khale, welcomed their son, Tobias Khale.

The lovebirds introduced their adorable son to the world, first via Cole's reality show, "Keyshia Cole: My New Life," and subsequently through a post on the newborn's Instagram page.

The first picture in the post showed the adorable Tobias sleeping peacefully, with his head resting on his little arms, while the second and third showed him smiling happily. In the fourth photo, baby Tobias looked relaxed as he lay on his furry bed.

Keyshia Cole and Niko Khale have come a long way since she first debuted him as her boyfriend on social media. Following Cole's revelation, the lovebirds faced some backlash from critics due to their age difference.

The singer is 14 years older than Khale, and when she appeared on an episode of Nick Cannon's show, Cole refused to accept that she was her boyfriend's elder.

Cannon, who was once married to Mariah Carey, who is ten years older than he is, opined that Cole was like an elder to Khale, but the singer refuted the claim.

However, Cannon didn't back down on his words, explaining how he took Mariah Carey as his elder during their relationship, allowing her to mold him and also let him come into manhood, for which he will forever be indebted to her for.
