The actress likened her love life to that of her character's in the 2019 movie, "Isn't It Romantic," saying that she used to be closed off to people, but is now "trying to put myself out there."

Daily Mail previously revealed that she claimed that even though she just wanted to meet a “nice guy,” they have refused to make the first move. Rebel also mentioned that she was keeping her eyes open for “someone who is nice, maybe talented, not got a criminal record - something like that.”

That wouldn’t be the first time that the “Pitch Perfect” star would speak up about dating. Daily Mail reported in 2019 that the actress revealed that she preferred to date people who aren’t part of Hollywood.

According to the site, Wilson made that decision because she believed that the beauty standards that governed Hollywood were “very unrealistic.”
