Although Chrisley and Kerdiles reportedly met on Instagram and started dating by November 2017, they didn't make their relationship known to the public until a few months later.

Taking to Instagram back in January 2018, Chrisley made her relationship with Kerdiles official with a sweet birthday post.

While sharing several adorable photos and videos of herself with Kerdiles, Chrisley penned a touching tribute to her beau.

In the heartwarming tribute, Chrisley thanked Kerdiles for being a fantastic partner and a selfless and loving man to her.

The sweet birthday post came only two days after Kerdiles introduced her to his Instagram followers with a cute photo of the couple, which he captioned with a cheesy note.

Barely a year into the public debut of their relationship, Kerdiles proposed to Chrisley in the presence of her family and friends at her Nashville home.

While speaking to People, Chrisley gave details about the romantic proposal, which she revealed had been a surprise to her. She said:

"...And Nic's family is standing on one side, my family and friends are standing on the other, and then I just start freaking out..."

Chrisley also added that although they had been talking about engagement before the proposal, she was still nervous when it happened.

Chrisley and Kerdiles reportedly planned to get married in May 2020, but the ceremony was postponed. This was, however, followed by rumors that the couple had split.

In response to these speculations, Chrisley recently clarified the status of their relationship while also revealing that people were unnecessarily prying into their love life.

She further explained that the postponement of their nuptials had been a joint agreement after they both decided there was a need to know more about each other.

Chrisley is most famous for her appearances on her family's reality show "Chrisley Knows Best," while Kerdiles is currently a professional hockey player.
