Not only did his moves earn him a spot as America’s most popular governor, but it also made him one of New York’s most noteworthy bachelors, a status which might not change anytime soon.
As seen in a recent survey conducted by the professional matchmaker Maureen Tara Nelson, Andrew and Chris were both voted as “the most handsome and desirable man in New York.”
During an interview with People, the father-of-three addressed his plans for getting back in the dating pool following his 2019 break-up from Sandra Lee. The site stated that despite his popularity amongst women, Andrew claimed, “No one has asked me for a date, no one. Not a single date. Not an offer.”
When he asked if he was open to the idea of accepting an offer from one of the women in the post-COVID-19 era, Andrew admitted that “man does not live by government alone.”
His sister-in-law, Cristina Cuomo, has even made it known that she has a “waitlist” of women who have indicated their interest in going on a date with the governor once the pandemic ends.
According to People, the Purist founder said that she had to put a “waitlist” together due to the numerous calls she has received from her female friends regarding her brother-in-law.
The 50-year-old noted that she loved how hands-on Andrew has been about the novel coronavirus outbreak. Not only has he taken up the habit of holding daily press briefings, but his banter with his brother, Chris Cuomo, during TV interviews has also provided comic relief for thousands.
Even celebrities such as Jada Pinkett-Smith have become drawn to his “honest and open” take on the situation.
People added that as seen in a recent survey conducted by the professional matchmaker Maureen Tara Nelson, Andrew and Chris were both voted as “the most handsome and desirable man in New York.”
The 62-year-old later joked that he was the only eligible candidate between him and Chris because the latter is already a happily married man who has kids.
Andrew was previously married to Kerry Kennedy with whom he shares his three daughters, Michaela, Mariah, and Cara.
