RHOBH Star Garcelle Beauvais Claims Black Stars Are Not Valued in Hollywood – Here's Why

Hollywood star Garcelle Beauvais recently gave her opinion about the movie industry in regard to Black movie stars.

RHOBH star Garcelle Beauvais appeared on the virtual airing of Variety's "After Show," where she gave updates on the drama on the reality show and her opinion on the racial disparity in Hollywood.

Sharing her candid thoughts about Hollywood and Black actors, Beauvais shared that she and other black stars were not "valued" as should be.

Season 10, Episode 8 of "RHOBH" had Beauvais raising brows after stating that not all her fellow reality personalities were close friends.

The "The Jamie Foxx Show" star shared that she had been in Hollywood for over 20 years and payment in the movie industry seemed biased. She shared with the host:

"But I do feel that so many times, my white counterparts get paid 1,000% more than I do. I know it for sure, and that really sucks. We're not valued as we should be…"

Beauvais went on to say that she was clamoring for equal treatment and added that "it's" been going on for long, and she was not "putting up with it."

Variety shares that the Beauvais went on to talk about the drama ensuing on" RHOBH," and revealed that there was an ongoing rift that blew up on her and her fellow stars' trip to Rome.

She explained that while Denise Richards and Brandi Glanville were having a tussle, most of the reality stars took sides with Glanville.

Beauvais mentioned that she felt the RHOBH stars should have listened to Richards' side of the story. She said of Richards during her interview:

"...Everybody was coming after her. She was crying at every dinner, and it was a lot…"

Although Beauvais is the newest member of the crew, she is already keeping it real with her open-minded nature.

Stars like Richards and Lisa Rinna questioned Beauvais' sentiment during their separate interviews on the show, but Beauvais explained that after meeting with all the "RHOBH" stars, she hit it right off with some, but her relationship with others was not so cordial.

Bravo TV further shares that Beauvais, a star on her own right, is also a doting mom and grandmother.

One of her recent Instagram shares showed her fawning over her 4-month-old grandbaby, Oliver Jr where she made it known that she was "in love" with the adorable tot.
