Sara Gilbert Reveals She Misses 'The Talk' Which She Co-hosted for 9 Years
For nine years, Sara Gilbert held a position as co-host on ABC's talk show, "The Talk," and only left the show last year. However, she revealed in a podcast that she misses the show greatly.
Though Sara Gilbert has been out of "The Talk" for a year, she still misses the show and revealed that while speaking on Thursday's episode of Variety and iHeart's podcast, "The Big Ticket." The 45-year-old said:
"I loved seeing those women every day and connecting with them, and the producers and the crew and staff. It was such a great environment, such a friendly place…"

Since leaving the show, Gilbert has been busy, starring in and producing "The Conners," the rebooted series previously known as "Roseanne," which played a significant role in her decision to quit "The Talk."
Sara Gilbert announced that she would be leaving "The Talk" during the April 9, 2019, episode of the show, saying she needed more balance in her life.Her announcement was followed by an emotional reaction from her fellow co-hosts, especially Sharon Osbourne.
Gilbert made her final appearance on "The Talk" on Friday, August 2, when her co-hosts honored her with an emotional farewell, which also had special guests around.
When they announced their separation in December 2019, it was shocking to a lot of people.
In that episode, which was titled "Sara's Final Show," Carrie Ann Inaba revealed to the audience that it was Gilbert who started "The Talk," which first premiered on October 18, 2018.
The co-hosts also relived some special moments from episodes past. All co-hosts gave their goodbye speeches to Gilbert, including her very good friend, Sharon Osbourne, with whom she has a close relationship.
A tearful Osbourne said that Gilbert was like a sister she never had, who was always there for her, supported, and advised her. Gilbert hugged Osbourne, telling her she would always be there for her and the other co-hosts.
Sara Gilbert was born on January 29, 1975. She made her television debut at the age of six when she appeared in a commercial. She attended Yale University and holds a Bachelor of Arts Major.
Gilbert is famous for her role in "The Big Bang Theory," where she played Johnny Galecki's love interest. The actress and producer has been nominated for the Emmy Awards thrice, twice in 1993, and once in 1994.
Gilbert got married to her longtime lovebird, Linda Perry, in 2014. The couple shared an amazing love story that wowed many fans; hence when they announced their separation in December 2019, it was shocking to a lot of people.
The former couple share a son, Rhodes. Gilbert also has two other sons, Levi and Sawyer, who she shares with her ex-wife, Ali Adler.
Though they are now separated, Gilbert and Perry had many special moments and did so many things together, including releasing a children album, "Deer Sound," in 2015. They remain on good terms and continue to work together in co-parenting their son Rhodes.
