Listen to Jordin Sparks Sing to Her Son DJ in a Touching Video That Got Kelly Clarkson Emotional

On the recent episode of Kelly Clarkson’s talk show, she revisited an event that featured musician Jordin Sparks singing to her son during the virtual appearance.

On Tuesday, Clarkson hosted her talk show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” and featured singer Sparks. The country musician referred to a previous episode, which featured Sparks, where she held a virtual baby shower.

The baby shower was held in conjunction with “Carter's ShowHER Love” initiative. One hundred expectant mothers featured remotely at the fun and lively event.

SPARKS SINGS FOR SON

They received gifts and got to share stories with Clarkson. Sparks appeared with her son, Dana Isaiah Thomas Jr., 2, and they had an adorable and touching moment where they sang "You Are My Sunshine" together.

In the recent episode, Clarkson confessed that she couldn’t help but cry and get emotional during that “beautiful” performance. She also told Sparks that her son, Remington, 4, loved the song and they sang it together at times.

CLARKSON’S CHILDREN

Clarkson also shares a daughter named River Rose, 6, with her estranged husband, Brandon Blackstock. Earlier this summer, the country star revealed that she and Blackstock were separating.

JORDIN’S NEW ALBUM

Her estranged husband also happens to be the executive producer on the show. During the recent talk show episode, Sparks also got to talk about her upcoming new album, "Sounds Like Me.”

HOW JORDIN FOUND FAME

The singer found fame in 2002 when she became the youngest “American Idol” winner at age 17. In 2008, she rocked the charts after releasing a video for "No Air," a duet that featured Chris Brown.

GETTING MARRIED

The song became number 16 on VH1's Top 40 Videos of that year. She shares her son with her husband, Dana Isaiah, whom she married on July 16, 2017.

KELLY SINGS ON KELLYOKE

Besides Sparks, Clarkson also got to do a bit of singing for her Kellyoke segment. On Monday, she belted out the song, "The Climb" which is an iconic track from Miley Cyrus' “Hannah Montana” days.
