Fans might know Jesse Williams as the handsome plastic surgeon on the iconic medical drama "Grey's Anatomy," but there is a lot more to the actor than meets the eyes.

The gifted actor is a proud father to his kids, Sadie and Maceo, who he shares with his ex, Aryn Drake-Lee, who he had been married to from 2012 to 2017.

Williams' love for his children knows no bound. He is happy when he is around them and his daughter Sadie proved it when she said her dad laughs when he takes her to the park.

Last month, Williams delighted his fans on Instagram with a hilarious Father's Day questionnaire that his daughter had to answer about him.

Williams and Drake-Lee were known to be private about their personal lives.

Sadie had quite a few things to say about her father and most of them were downright funny. "He's smart because he knows how to take me to Africa," she answered to one of the questions.

Sadie listed cereal as the food her father cooks and when asked about what his favorite food is, she said he only has a taste for drinks and not food.

Williams and his ex-wife Drake-Lee welcomed their daughter a year after they got married in 2013. Two years later, they welcomed their son Maceo.

The former couple kept the news of their son's birth private until around two months after his birth. Williams and Drake-Lee were known to be private about their personal lives.

Williams and Drake-Lee dated for about five years before tying the knot in September 2012. Their divorce was somewhat public but they are said to have separated amicably.

There had been rumors that Drake-Lee and Williams broke up because the actor had cheated on his wife with someone from work. Williams dismissed the allegations later on, saying that he would not blow a 13-year relationship like that.

Drake-Lee later opened up about the divorce, saying that she felt abandoned after the split. According to her, all the friends she had made in LA were on his side and she was left alone. She also admitted that she never felt comfortable with the show business environment.
