Kandi Burruss Reveals How RHOA Stars Keep Safe While Filming Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic
Kandi Burruss detailed some of the safety measures that have been introduced for the cast of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' as they returned to film the show amid COVID-19.
Kandi Burruss has gotten some much-needed quality time with her husband, Todd Tucker, and their children. While juggling her work from home, Kandi and her family have been enjoying activities like weekend barbeques.
Their family has several summer highlights to look back on, such as the lavish birthday parties they celebrated, and Kandi's eldest daughter's graduation bash.
Kandi's downtime came to an end recently, and she is back with her co-stars filming "Real Housewives of Atlanta." Like many shows, the risk of spreading COVID-19 among the cast and crew has required strict safety measures. During an interview with Extra, Kandi explained:
"It's a lot of rules because more than anything they care about our safety. We're getting tested all the time."
The show ended its 12th season on an explosive note with the women divided and creating alliances over their various disputes in recent months. Despite their differences, safety is the main priority, Kandi said:
"That's what we have to do to be to continue to tape together, we have to make sure everyone's status is negative."

Kandi recently landed a guest appearance on the third season of "The Chi." She plays the character of Rosalyn Perry, the local politician's estranged wife. The reality star told Extra that she almost didn't the part.
"At first, I thought it wasn't going to work out because of scheduling conflicts with 'Housewives,'" Kandi explained.
Kandi revealed that playing Rosalyn wasn't her first choice. She told Extra that she had auditioned for another part. However, the role worked perfectly with her schedule, which is was happy about.
Kandi has had a successful start to the year. She came out top on the third season of the "Masked Singer," making her the first female to win on the show.
Although Kandi is returning for the 13th season of "Real Housewives of Atlanta," the cast for the upcoming season has not been confirmed.
Eva Marcille announced her departure from the show a few weeks. It is speculated that Nene Leakes would not be returning. However, she has not confirmed the status of her future with Bravo.
