Closer Weekly: Get a Glimpse of How Prince George Celebrated His 7th Birthday with Family
The British Royal Family has gone through an interesting number of birthdays recently. However, perhaps none was more interesting than that of Prince George.
Earlier this week, Closer Weekly reported that Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton threw the little prince a small shindig for his birthday.
Prince George turned seven yesterday. While the tradition would have been to get his friends together for a party, the novel coronavirus pandemic pretty much rendered such plans mute. However, his parents still managed to make the day enjoyable.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge threw their little boy a camping-themed party. It reportedly included BBQs as well, and attendees included the nuclear family — George, his parents, and his siblings.
The report confirmed that the family pulled out all the stops. Even the lockdown couldn't get in the way of them throwing a party for the birthday boy. A source said:
"William put up tents in the garden, and he and Kate surprised the birthday boy with a yurt (as his gift), and he received a new bicycle from Charlotte and Louis."
However, there was even more. The source added that Prince William plans to build some furniture, for the yurt, with his son.
Amongst other things, this will allow the two to enjoy the gift even more. As for the Prince's siblings, they helped Duchess Kate with baking a chocolate sponge cake.

It appeared that Prince George had a fun-filled birthday indeed. However, not many members of the Royal Family could attend.
Per the report, Kate's parents — Michael and Carole Middleton — attended the bash. However, the Queen and Prince Philip couldn't.
Still, they managed to send him their regards via an Instagram post. Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla also wished him a happy birthday via social media.
As for the celebrant, he did more than just eat cake and get gifts. He also posed for a photo shoot, in which he wore a camouflage T-shirt.
Prince George's birthday is coming after several Royal Family celebrations. Princess Charlotte celebrated her fifth birthday in May, while the Queen also turned 94 in April.
The Royal Family also recently celebrated the wedding of Princess Beatrice, the daughter of Prince Andrew, and a cousin to Prince William.
