Singer/ songwriter Demi Lovato has found love at last in the arms of actor Max Ehrich and announced her engagement to the "Under the Dome" actor on July 22, 2020.
But fans remember Lovato's drama-drenched relationship history and her romances with some of Hollywood's most eligible men -- and their sad endings.
Another man who flitted through Lovato's life was The Cab's frontman singer/ songwriter Alex DeLeon, who inspired her to write the song, “Catch Me”

LOVE AND DEMI LOVATO
One man who certainly played a huge role in Lovato's life was actor Wilmer Valderrama. The couple dated on and off up until 2016. Lovato would later confess that she'd been in love with Valderrama since she was 17, but that he'd refused to date her until she was 17.
Despite their breakup, Valderrama was there to offer her all his support when Lovato had an overdose in 2018. The actor visited her in hospital, and Lovato refers to him as one of her dearest friends. Valderrama is now engaged to model and divemaster Amanda Pacheco.
DATING JOE JONAS
Of course, another one of Lovato's high-profile romances was with Jonas Brothers singer, Joe Jonas. Their romance didn't survive, but their friendship did. To this day, Jonas and Lovato are close, and she congratulated him effusively on his engagement and later his marriage to "Game of Thrones" actress Sophie Turner, who is now expecting their first child.
SHORT AND SWEET
And let us not forget the men who dashed through Lovato's life. Their stay may have been short, but they were all pretty unforgettable men. Among them was "Hannah Montana" actor Cody Linley, who provided Lovato with a memorable first date during which his car broke down...
Another man who flitted through Lovato's life was The Cab's frontman singer/ songwriter Alex DeLeon, who inspired her to write the song, “Catch Me,” about him. Lovato had a long-distance romance with Miley Cyrus' brother Trace, and he admitted that at the time they dated she was too immature for him.
KEEP BELIEVING
But throughout these failed romances -- and many more -- Lovato never stopped believing in love. Although the couple has yet to share the particulars of their love story, it seems that they started contacting each other on social media.
The couple have been in quarantine together, and announced their engagement in July, although a firm wedding date is not yet forthcoming.
