See Julie and Savannah Chrisley's Gorgeous Entries to the Black-And-White Photo Challenge

Savannah Chrisley and her mother, Julie Chrisley are the latest celebrities to take part in social media challenges. The pair shared their own individual images for the “Women supporting women” challenge.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Savannah shared a black-and-white photo of herself standing tall and smiling in a social media challenge she had accepted. She captioned her post writing:

“She is clothed in strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”

CELEBRATING EACH OTHER

On Monday, her mother, Julie, also joined in the challenge with a black-and-white photo of her own. The close-up image showed the reality star laughing freely.

Women are supporting and uplifting each other in the new viral challenge.

She captioned her post: “If we could only celebrate each other and realize that it costs nothing to be nice and to lift each other up!” Julie also noted how “blessed” she was to be surrounded by “strong women” who “truly” believed they were “stronger together."

THE VIRAL CHALLENGE

The viral challenge sees women posting black-and-white social media photos of themselves to spread messages of female solidarity and empowerment. Most posts include the hashtags #challengeaccepted and #womensupportingwomen.

Usually, a friend would nominate you to take part in the challenge by tagging you in their own post. Actress Kerry Washington is one of the stars that have taken part in the challenge.

CANCER SUPPORT

There’s been some confusion as to what the cause for the challenge is. Some of those who’ve participated said they were doing it for cancer support.

However, many more others have posted their images with no explanation included. Fans would recognize Savannah and Julie from the reality show, “Chrisley Knows Best.”

TODD AND JULIE’S MARRIAGE

The show made its premiere in 2014 and has been going strong since. Julie and her real estate mogul husband, Todd, have been married since 1996.

THEIR CHILDREN

The couple share Savannah, son Chase, and another son Grayson. Their children appear alongside them on the funny reality show.

TODD’S GRANDCHILD

Also included in the mix are Todd’s mother, Nanny Faye, and his granddaughter, Chloe. The little girl is his grandchild from his son, Kyle.

HIS OTHER CHILDREN

Before marrying Julia, Todd was married to his high school sweetheart, Teresa Terry. They had two children, Lindsie and Kyle Chrisley.

The pair’s marriage came to an end in 1993.
