Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter, actress Riley Keough, pays homage to her dead younger brother, Benjamin Keough, who passed away on July 12.
Actress Riley Keough, the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley, has chosen an interesting and heartwarming way of honoring her late brother, Benjamin Keough, who passed away on July 12, at the age of 27.
The actress debuted a photo of her new tattoo, right above her collarbone, on her Instagram story. It read, “Benjamin Storm,” the late Benjamin’s first name and middle name, in stunning cursive writing.
In the tattoo shot, Riley lifted the clear bandaging on her fresh body art, to show the beautiful cursive letters over her collarbone. The 31-year-old grieving sister added a red heart emoji to the picture.
She also shared a picture of Benjamin’s tattoo in the same place where she got hers. His tattoo read “Riley.” Days after his death, she posted a slideshow of some pictures of her with her brother, heartbroken and unsure of how to move on. Riley's touching tribute read:
"Mornings are the hardest. I forget you’re gone. I can’t cry because of the fear that I will never stop. A pain that’s new to me."
The mourning actress referred to her brother as an angel, saying that was the closest word she could find to describe Benjamin. Keough added that Benjamin was also a wild man, an intellectual, and her twin soul and protector.
The family held a private emotional ceremony after the devastating tragedy struck.
The heartbroken actress hoped that the late Benjamin would give her the strength to eat and even find a way past the large hole that his death created in her heart.
Riley hoped that he could feel her love wherever he was and wished that he was cradled in love. She concluded that what she was feeling was true heartbreak. She hoped they would meet again.
Her Instagram story has since been flooded with photos and videos in reminiscence of her sweet baby brother, sharing touching messages in his honor.
Keough’s mother, Lisa Marie Presley, also paid tribute to her son. The family held a private emotional ceremony after the devastating tragedy struck. The late 27-year-old was reportedly dressed in a designer suit, in his open casket.
The deceased was survived by his mother, sister, Riley, and twin younger sisters, Finley and Harper, who are only 11 years old. Benjamin would be profoundly missed by his family, especially Riley, who was almost like a twin to him.
