It is no secret that when Mowry was pregnant with her second daughter, she joked that she wanted a brown girl like her, so much so that she even prayed to God for it. Jokes aside, the actress knows that her daughter is her mini-me.

This is what she wrote in the text that accompanied her latest photos: “The many faces of my little #minime (LOL emoticon) #weekendmode #momlife”

A DREAM COME TRUE

Many women dream of a luxurious, open-air wedding full of charming details with hundreds of friends and family invited to share their happiness. They also dream of wearing an elegant designer dress and marrying their best friend, the closest thing to a charming prince.

For Mowry, that dream came true in May 2011 when she married former Baseball player and former Fox correspondent Adam Housley. The couple had dated for a while and decided to say their wedding vows outdoors at a beautiful resort in Napa Valley, California.

The family's happiness was complete after they welcomed their two children, first Aiden, 8, and then little Airah, 5. Mowry hoped to have completed her career goals to start a family in her early thirties. She thinks that with two children and all the work that this requires, this is enough for her.

FAMILY CHALLENGES

However, being a happy couple and having built a solid family so far has not been an easy task. The Mowry-Housley spouses have faced accusations of racism and criticism for being in an interracial marriage.

Housley is a White man married to a woman from the African American community. But they found a way to make it work from the beginning.

Mowry always says that at the beginning of their relationship, her husband had a smooth relationship with her family and they have always been willing to learn from each other's family.
