Melanie Griffith Turns 63 – See How She Spent Her Special Day Amid COVID-19 Quarantine

Actress Melanie Griffith turned 63 years old on August 9 and friends, her three kids and three ex-husbands made sure the day was as memorable as it could be amid social distancing precautions.

Actress Melanie Griffith turned 63 on August 9, but unfortunately, she was unable to celebrate her special day with her family. The actress shared how her friends managed to still be there for her even with social distancing in an Instagram post. Her caption began with:

“woke up this morning, my 63rd Birthday morning, to this beautiful Happy Birthday on my gate. But I had no idea who did it!!!”

Her caption later revealed that her friends Eli and Kevin, who dropped by to drop off cake and cookies, were actually the culprits responsible for the sweet HAPPY BIRTHDAY decoration on her gate.

She also revealed that she had been getting texts, flowers, and thoughtful gifts all day long. She also got to FaceTime her ex-husbands, Antonio Banderas, Steven Bauer, and Don Johnson.

Griffith was grateful for all the people who took out their time to offer her sweet wishes on her special day and for thinking of her and showing her such an overwhelming amount of love.

Griffith shares her three children, Alexander Bauer, Stella Banderas, and “Fifty Shades of Grey” actress Dakota Johnson with all three of her former husbands.

The actress still maintained a very cordial relationship with all three men and was on very good terms with them. Banderas reportedly referred to her as his best friend, saying that even though she was no longer his wife, he still loved her deeply.

In July, the actress even took a trip down memory lane and shared old photos of herself with all three of them when they were still together. Her first throwback was an adorable snap of her with Steven Bauer, who she was married to from 1981 till 1989. She wrote:

“When @thestevenbauer and I were married and madly in love ♥️ #tbt 1984.”

The old snap showed the young lovers snuggling close while smiling and looking captivated with each other. Her throwback post with Don Johnson was a sensual photo of them sitting close to each other with Griffith pressing a tender kiss to Johnson’s cheek.

The snap was taken when Griffith was 18 years old and in her first of two marriages to the then-26-year-old Johnson. Her last throwback was a 2012 picture of her in a warm embrace with Banderas, her last husband to whom she was married from 1996 till 2015 when they parted ways.

Griffith’s lasting friendships with her former spouses were only a small bit of the kind and friendly person that her many friends and fans saw her as, and with their help, Griffith’s amazing quarantine birthday was made possible.
