Fantasia Glows in a Tight Black Mini Dress as She Celebrates Her Husband's 40th B-Day (Photos)

Singer Fantasia had a splendid celebration as she rocked a hot number for her husband, Kendall Taylor's 40th birthday. The duo looked impeccable as they were photographed in cozy moments.

The latest updates on Fantasia's Instagram page showed the lavish party organized for her beloved husband, Kendall Taylor, who became a year older.

The Grammy Award winner displayed her hourglass shape in a black mini dress that clung nicely to her generous curves while she sported her signature cropped hairstyle.

Her man was not left out as he looked dapper in a three-piece suit. The "birthday boy" and his wife were captured in lovely moments as they basked in each other's company.

[Fantasia] noted in an interview that Taylor was impressive as he did not make any sexual advances towards her.

In one of her uploads, Fantasia and Taylor were locked in a sweet embrace while guests cheered them. She captioned the post:

"...I was running around trying to make sure the night was perfect for my perfect man. Happy 40th to my real life, Ken Doll…"

Taylor shared an intimate snapshot of him and his wife cozying up and unaware of paparazzi. More photos from the big celebration appeared on Fantasia's Instagram story with snippets of the party and the lovely decor.

The love birds tied the knot in 2015 in a lush red, black and white-themed occasion in California. Years before meeting Taylor, Fantasia endured long term emotional troubles which led her to marry herself. Fantasia, an "American Idol" alum, once mentioned in an interview:

"I was getting all of my old relationships out of my system. I didn't want anybody; I said, 'I'm ­marrying myself…"

Fantasia and her husband first met at a rooftop party and hit it off from the start. The duo talked all night long. The "American Idol" alum noted in an interview that Taylor was impressive as he did not make any sexual advances towards her.

They got married three weeks later and according to Fantasia, they did not consummate their love before marriage. Taylor suggested a prenup arrangement to show his dear wife that he was not interested in her wealth.

The 40-year-old also once clarified the issue of submission in marriage and stated that it was a two-way thing.
