Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly moved into their very first owned home, and the Duchess of Sussex recently gave viewers a glimpse of their new mansion.
When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry arrived in the United States earlier this year, the royal couple remained within the confounds of a well-secured mansion owned by their friend Tyler Perry. Now, the couple is soaking up the joy that comes with owning their first property.
The Duchess made an appearance on "The 19th* Represents 2020 Virtual Summit" via video call over the weekend, and elaborating on her return to US soil, Markle said that "it's good to be home." The royal couple reportedly also just moved into the house they purchased two months ago.

HOW IT FELT WHEN SHE ARRIVED
Speaking to Emily Ramshaw, The 19th* CEO and co-founder, Markle shared that she initially felt a sense of "devastation" when she returned to the US after so many years away.
It's been a decade since she's lived there, and with the onset of the pandemic, it made Markle "sad" to see where "our country was at that moment." But now, the royal couple found their forever home in Santa Barbara, and viewers got a glimpse of it during the video call.

THE GLIMPSE
The 39-year-old Duchess looked relaxed in a beautiful wingback chair with a view of the luscious gardens in the background. The vintage feel in everything from the room Markle found herself in, to the meticulously manicured gardens outside.
The California property is located in Montecito, where their $14,65 million purchase on June 18 made them neighbors to the likes of Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey.
THE DREAMY HOME
According to a statement from their rep. on August 11, the royal couple, along with their 1-year-old son Archie, has "settled into the quiet privacy of their community since their arrival."
What they settled into is a nine-bedroom home that took almost five years to build. With an emphasis on at-home enjoyment, the house boasts a library, an office, a wine cellar, a theater, an arcade, a game room, and a spa with a separate wet and dry sauna.
THEY HOPE FOR A SENSE OF NORMALCY
Among the Italian cypress trees and lavender gardens, one can find a tea house, a children's cottage, a swimming pool, a two-bedroom guest house, and a tennis court as well.
A first for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the couple chose the property with the way they want to raise their son in mind. According to a source, its a very exciting time for them, and elaborated:
"This is the first home either of them has ever owned. It has been a very special time for them as a couple and as a family."
While Meghan Markle and Prince Harry found their long-term home, they reportedly struggled to find a long-term nanny for little Archie.
The royal couple fired his nanny on her second shift, as she reportedly acted “unprofessional and irresponsible" while around the royal tot.
