A LASTING LOVE

The couple met in 2001 while Tiny's career as a singer in the R&B group, Xscape, was booming. T.I. was still building his reputation as a rapper and was five years younger than Tiny.

Interestingly, at the time, Tiny had revealed to Essence that she was not interested in being in a relationship with the rapper. However, while reflecting on that time, she admits that after watching her rapper husband perform for the first time, she felt that she could like him.

TURBULENT MARRIAGE MOMENTS

As in love as they look in their recent post, this has not always been the case for this pair. In fact, in 2016, the power couple separated.

While on T.I.'s podcast, "ExpidiTIously," the Xscape star remarked that during her separation from her husband, she did not get involved with any other man. Instead, she kept herself busy with her career and focused on growing her wealth. She added that she believes that she doesn't need a man's love to complete her.

During the same interview, T.I. remarked that he is thankful that his wife was tolerant throughout the hardships they experienced in their marriage.

THE SECRET TO T.I. AND TINY'S LOVE

Even though their marriage has not always been smooth sailing, the musical stars are still married and in love. In a 2019 interview on Tamron Hall's talk show, T.I. expressed how much he loves his wife and his family.

When asked about the couple's relationship trouble that played out on their family's reality show, "T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle," T.I. explained the secret to a lasting marriage. The rapper believes the answer is to simply not leave your partner.
