Watch These Heart Melting Videos of Serena Williams' Daughter Cheering for Her Mom at the US Open

Serena Williams is currently competing in the US Open as she fights to add another piece of silverware to her sprawling collection. However, while the lack of fans might be a bit of a change, she at least has her daughter cheering her on.

Yesterday, Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian Sr., shared a clip on Instagram. The short video showed the couples' daughter, Olympia, arriving courtside to watch the tennis champion play.

The US Open has started but fans aren't allowed to join in the action due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. However, some family members can come in to cheer their friends on. So, it's only fair that Olympia stays to watch her mom play.

Ohanian's short clip showed a staff member handing Olympia down to him as he carried the little girl courtside. Ohanian had his long hair tied in a bun, showing that he hasn't had a haircut in a while.

As for Olympia, she kicked her legs in excitement as she was delivered to her father and was on her way to watch. Captioning the clip, Ohanian wrote:

"Happy feet! ?? @olympiaohanian."

Williams also shared a picture that showed Olympia watching her as she warmed up before a match in the competition. The snap showed the little girl watching intently as Williams got ready to return a serve from an unnamed opponent.

Williams has made it to the finals of the US Open two years in a row but she's lost twice.

Williams' US Open match was against Sloane Stephens, a fellow American tennis player who won the competition in 2017. The match was the first that the pair had played against each other since 2015.

The tennis legend managed to win the match 2-6, 6-2, 6-2. It was a dominant win for the tennis player who is still looking for her seventh US Open title.

She defeated American Kristie Ann in the opening round and Russian Margarita Gasparyan on Thursday. Williams has made it to the finals of the U.S. Open two years in a row but she's lost twice.

As for Olympia, the little one has been making some moves of her own. According to reports, she became a part-owner of Angel City, a female soccer team, earlier this year.

Olympia joined a star-studded ownership team that includes Jessica Chastain, America Ferrara, Uzo Aduba, and Jennifer Garner. The move also makes Olympia the youngest team owner in professional sports.

The ownership team is led by Natalie Portman, an actress, and activist. Venture capitalist Kara Nortman is also on the team, as is video game manufacturer Julie Uhrman.

Angel City is a part of a new expansion by the National Women's Soccer League. The team will begin playing professional matches in the spring of 2022.
