American model Sofia Richie and Jaden Smith sparked rumors that they could be an item after they were photographed getting close during a sunny beach outing.

Could Sofia Richie and Jaden Smith be dating was the question on the lips of many after the pair were spotted at the beach together on Saturday.

The Shade Room shared pictures of the duo cozying up at the beach during the outing on its official Instagram page. The first three pictures showed Richie and Smith holding hands in the beach water.

The fourth picture showed them on the beach sands. This time, they were not holding hands but sharing a loving hug, with Richie smiling excitedly.

She wore a pink floral two-piece swimsuit while Smith wore pink and blue shorts. One of the pictures showed them enjoying some good wine while discussing. The Shade Room captioned the post:

"#Roommates, it seems Hollywood is a little smaller than we thought, because #SofiaRichie was spotted getting flirty with #JadenSmith at the beach recently."

The beach outing with Smith comes fresh after Richie’s breakup with her ex, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Scott Disick. Several persons commented on the post including “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, Porsha Williams.

Williams noted that Smith and Richie looked cute together. Another fan delighted with the development said that Smith was looking healthy and happy which was great to see.

Last month, reports confirmed that Richie and Disick broke up for the second time.

Reacting to the development, an eyewitness told Us Weekly that Richie and Smith were laughing all the time, looking very intimate during their time at the beach.

The eyewitness also said that Richie sat on the sand hugging Smith tightly before they went to cool off with a dip in the ocean. The witness further noted that they only had eyes for each other.

Richie and Smith were also seen having dinner with Moises Arias, a "Hannah Montana" alum, and his girlfriend, at the Nobu Malibu later in the day.

On Monday, Richie stunned in a white crop top that she matched with black shorts while hanging out with her friends at the beach on Labor Day. She later changed into a striped swimsuit.

In the evening, the fashion designer had dinner with her close friend Andrew Beyer at the Nobu Malibu. The friends wore facemasks amid the COVID-19 pandemic and were seen leaving the restaurant holding hands.

Last month, reports confirmed that Richie and Disick broke up for the second time after initially reuniting following their split earlier in the year.

A source told People that the couple found it hard to balance their relationship with Disick’s family life, adding that the reality star’s kids will always come first.
