Star actresses Shannen Doherty and Sarah Michelle Gellar were best friend goals in one of their latest show-offs as they joined in the "wine challenge" on Labor Day.

Hollywood besties Shannen Doherty and Sarah Michelle Gellar had fans gushing over them as they indulged in some fun moments.

The duo was filmed basking in each other's company as they gleefully participated in the viral "wine challenge" while celebrating Labor Day.

Shannen Doherty and Sarah Michelle Gellar sat in an open field where they soaked up summer goodness in skimpy outfits that showed their flawless skins. Doherty sat in front of Gellar, as she held a wine glass with her teeth. The caption read:

"...since this year, the party just consists of us, we figured why not try the wine challenge. We are the party…"

Doherty's caption stated that the Labor day celebration was usually more prominent, but quarantine had them downsizing to just two people.

At a point in the clip, Doherty tilted her head backward to hilariously feed Gellar some wine. The duo shared a peal of laughter and hugs after completing the task.

KEEPING UP POSITIVITY

Doherty's fun post comes amid her fight against stage 4 metastatic cancer. The star, who was diagnosed in 2015, underwent therapy, a mastectomy surgery, and chemotherapy, among other measures. Presently, the malignant disease has spread to other parts of her body.

More stars like Tori Spelling, Rose McGowan, and Holly Marie Combs sent their well-wishes as well.

However, Doherty is determined to keep up positivity and spend quality time with her loved ones. Other stars who have taken up the "wine challenge" include the pair of Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power; Elle and Dakota Fanning.

DOHERTY GETS SUPPORT

In the wake of her diagnosis, Doherty has leaned on the much-needed support from her celebrity friends Brian Austin Green and Gellar.

This year, the star known for "Beverly Hills 90210" made it known that her metastatic cancer diagnosis advanced to stage 4, the final step in grading.

After her announcement, many of her fellow stars and pals took to social media with heartfelt posts to wish the actress well. Gellar made it known on Instagram that her best friend was tougher than the ailment.

In her post, Alyssa Milano shared a lovely snapshot of Doherty while reminding the star of her affection. More stars like Tori Spelling, Rose McGowan, and Holly Marie Combs sent their well-wishes as well.
