“Jon & Kate Plus 8” star Jon Gosselin is currently under investigation by child services after his son accused him of physically abusing him while in his custody.
The drama in the Gosselin home never seems to end. This week, “People” magazine revealed that Jon Gosselin has had a child abuse investigation launched against him.
The former reality star had been accused, by one of his sextuplets, Collin Gosselin, 16, of kicking and punching him. The boy’s mother, Kate Gosselin, has been informed by the County of Berks, Pennsylvania Child & Youth Services (CYS) about the open investigation.

The alleged violent incident apparently took place earlier in September 2020. In the document, someone has been accused of "causing bodily injury to a child through recent act/failure to act: hitting/punching."
Jon wasn’t named as the perpetrator however, last week on Instagram Collin accused his father of beating him. Kate has responded to the accusation by insisting that punching and kicking one's children is not okay.
She explained how she wasn’t willing to listen to any excuses from her child’s father, the local police, or the courts in this matter. Kate noted how there was a law that protects children against abuse and that it should be followed.
KATE WANTS JUSTICE
The reality star added: "I don't want my children around him. Enough is enough.” In Collin’s since-deleted social media accusation of abuse, the teenager called his father a liar.
The boy claimed his father attacked him in a violent manner even when he was lying on the floor. Without giving away any details of the violent altercation, the incident was said to have been quite violent.
WHY COLLIN WAS ABUSED
“People’s” source shared how the altercation occurred after Collin became upset while talking to Jon in the car. The teenager allegedly screamed and swore at his father.
When they got home, the boy was still furious and got a big bottle of liquid from the garage and threw it at his father’s car. The bottle ended up getting a dent and Jon reacted by becoming enraged and attacked the boy.
JON BECOMES VIOLENT
The parent allegedly hurt the boy's nose and ribs, as confirmed by the source. The insider revealed how the teenager called the police and they responded on the scene.
According to the publication, Jon is unlikely to face any legal repercussions. Kate insisted that she wanted justice for her son and that she wasn’t going to let this get swept under a rug.
KATE WANTS JON ARRESTED
She shared that she wanted her ex-husband charged and to face the law. Collin has allegedly been moved from Jon’s home for his safety but it hasn't been revealed where he is.
JON’S REP REFUTES CLAIMS
A representative for the former reality star claimed Jon never abused Collin. The representative also alleged there was no ongoing CYS investigation or charges filed against him.
JON’S CLAIMS ABOUT KATE
Last November, Jon appeared on the “Dr. Oz Show” where he claimed his ex-wife was responsible for abusing the children. He alleged that she suffered from a narcissistic personality disorder.
THE COUPLE’S DIVORCE
Jon and Kate were divorced in 2009 after being married for 10 years. He stays with two of their sextuplets, Collin and Hannah.
THE GOSSELIN’S CHILDREN
The other four: Alexis, Aaden, Joel, Leah, and twins Cara and Madelyn, 19, all live with Kate. Before staying with his father, Collin was in a program for children with special needs for more than two years.
