Denzel Washington's Son John Reveals He's Had to Do Chores Living in Dad's House Amid Pandemic
Denzel Washington's son, John David revealed what it was like living in his dad's house during the novel coronavirus pandemic in a chat with "uncle" Samuel L. Jackson.
Award-winning actor Denzel Washington's oldest son, John David Washington sat down with Samuel L.Jackson, who was the guest host on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to discuss life during the pandemic and other things.
Jackson started by introducing John David saying that he had known him right from when he was born and has watched him grow into the man he is today.

The two proceeded to talk about life during the lockdown and how things had been. John David intimated that he moved into his parents' house during the pandemic which prompted Jackson to ask if he was assigned any chore. Laughing at the question, John David said:
"I can't believe we're doing this right now. There was a chore or two. My chore was to make sure I'm down for dinner in time."
Jackson, who has been friends with Denzel and his family for a long time replied that it was impossible for John David to have such a chore as he knew Denzel liked to have some order in the house.
Realizing Jackson would keep pounding him if he did not give a genuine response, John David admitted that the one chore he had during the pandemic was cooking.
An injury to his Achilles took him out of the game forever.
Satisfied with this answer, Jackson agreed that John David indeed knew how to cook and that he was the master when it came to grills as he had witnessed his grilling skills before.
The two proceeded to talk about John David's new movie, "Tenet" which was recently released and Jackson wanted to know how much he could talk about. John David admitted that he could not say much but he is sure the movie is one every person should see.
Throughout the chat, the light banter between John David and Jackson could be noticed as the Morehouse alum kept referring to Jackson as "uncle."
John David is the first of Denzel's four children. He has younger ones: Katia and twins, Malcolm and Olivia. All four of them are involved in the entertainment industry, although to varying degrees.
While John David is making his way to being a well-recognized actor, his sister Olivia has also followed in the footsteps, although she only features in small roles for now.
Katia and Malcolm prefer to be on the other side of the camera as production managers or film business experts.
Before joining the entertainment industry, John David was a football player but an injury to his Achilles took him out of the game forever and placed him in the path of entertainment which he truly enjoys.
