Skai Jackson Showered with Compliments from DWTS Fans for Her Tango during the Show's Premiere
Skai Jackson just gave an incredible performance on "Dancing With The Stars" and her fans only had the best things to say.
"Dancing with the Stars" is back. Things are a little different as the studio audience has been scrapped because of the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the stars on this series have been giving some impressive performances, including a spectacular tango by Skai Jackson.
Earlier this week, Jackson, who was partnered with the current champion, Alan Bersten, gave a fiery performance as they danced to Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass."
Finishing with an impressive score of 21/30, fans went crazy for the Disney star, taking to Twitter to praise her with one fan writing:
"Yesssss ma’am 10’s ACROSS THE BOARD @skaijackson.You did a good job & of course to such an iconic bop! Wow, I love you."
Jackson and her partner took the stage wearing sunglasses, with the actress dressed in a stunning black outfit as they took to the floor, impressing the judges with their routine.
Her fans definitely agreed with the judges with the general consensus being that she was the best performance of the night.
Jackson revealed that everyone was tested every day.
Before starting the show, Jackson revealed that she had taken some inspiration from the new "Dancing with the Stars" host, Tyra Banks.
Speaking to ET, Jackson said that she used to watch "America's Next Top Model" all the time and was excited to work with the supermodel. She added:
"Me and my partner, we're doing the Tango, and he's like, 'You gotta put on your smize face and bring that energy.' He literally will say, 'Give me your Tyra,' all the time."
Another breakout star of "Dancing with the Stars," Justina Machado, shared first place with Jackson as they both ended the episode with a score of 21/30.
In second place was "Catfish" host Neve Shulman, who's Foxtrot also earned him praise from the judges, landing him a score of 20/30.
One of the more anticipated contestants, Carole Baskin from "Tiger King," gave one of the more disappointing performances of the night, landing at the bottom of the group with 11/30.

As the threat of COVID-19 continues, plans for the new series needed to include safety procedures for the crew and dancers. Jackson revealed that everyone was tested every day.
