The "Hairspray" star started training with Keith Anthony about six months ago. She added in the Instagram post that she had lost about 50 pounds already.

The photos she posted compared her wearing two beautiful dresses before and after the weight loss. The first photo was in a red wrap fitted dress. Before she lost weight, you could see how tight-fitting the dress was as it showed her belly bulge.

The after weight loss photo showed her toned muscles as she held her waist, which bore no sign of a bulge. She had a bright smile on her face in both pictures.

The star juggled rehearsals with tests and treatments while doing everything she could to hold on to her role.

The other photo showed her wearing a blue bodycon dress. The details are practically the same as the first set of pictures. Her post was followed by strong emotions as her caption added:

"…losing weight will not stop the spread !! But getting myself as strong as possible to fight it at least makes me FEEL like I am doing something... like if I can kick cancers ass I can do this too.…"

Winokur was diagnosed with cancer after she was called for her first major broadway show, "Hairspray." It was the highest move in her career, and she couldn't afford to lose it, so she didn't tell anyone.
