CeCe Winans Poses in a New Selfie with Her Mother Delores as She Celebrates Her 84th Birthday

Famous gospel singer CeCe Winans celebrated her beautiful mom, Delores Winans, on her 84th birthday with a heartwarming post on Instagram.

On September 22, CeCe Winans' mother, Delores Winans turned 84 and the proud daughter made sure to dedicate a sweet post to her mom. CeCe shared an adorable mother-daughter selfie with the heartfelt birthday message:

"Happy 84th Birthday to my favorite girl!! I Love you Mom ♥️?."

The sweet selfie featured CeCe and her favorite birthday girl, Delores, sitting next to each other, looking as happy as two beautiful clams. The recently-turned 84-year-old looked nothing like her age as she showed off her pearly whites in a gorgeous bright smile.

CeCe also flashed a bright, happy smile while sporting short black locks in contrast to her mom's full head of silver curls. CeCe's fans were absolutely taken with the gorgeous look-alike mother and daughter and they joined her in celebrating her mom's big day.

While many people might instantly recognize CeCe and her name for her famous music, her beautiful mom Delores has also had a great time in the entertainment industry.

The 84-year-old Michigan-born beauty also started her music career with her family, as the matriarch of the famous gospel music group, Winans Family.

CeCe and her family were hit by an unpleasant surprise.

Acting also came in the books for Delores and she became known for her roles in the 2005 movie, "The Gospel," 2017's "The 40 Year Journey of Marvin L. Winans," and the 2018 movie, "Detroit The Gospel Journey."

Although CeCe did not pursue acting as her mother did, it goes without saying that she has created an incredible platform with her talent as a singer.

In 2018, CeCe got to share two Grammy nominations with her son, Alvin Love III, for the Best Gospel Album. She and her son co-wrote the album together and it ended up snagging them two nominations.

April was a difficult month for them as CeCe and her family were hit by an unpleasant surprise. Her mom and two of her brothers, BeBe and Marvin, contracted COVID-19.

BeBe, a gospel singer as well, revealed that he suspected that he contracted the illness while traveling to attend a friend's funeral in Detroit.

He started developing symptoms after his return, and soon, his brother, Marvin, and Delores were next. They recovered after that scary time, and BeBe expressed how grateful he was to be able to return to his family in good health.
