The entrepreneur started her fashion brand, "Baby Phat" in 1999 with her ex-husband, Russell Simmons, and it was a massive success during the 2000s. The fashion designer relaunched her brand as the owner in 2019, a year after her divorce from her husband.
The 45-year-old recently announced that her brand would be joining the beauty section with a new line, "Baby Phat Beauty," and launched the beauty brand with her daughters - 18-year-old Aoki Lee and 20-year-old Ming Lee.

According to the designer, the three independent kits named Opulence, Divine, and Ethereal, represented the mother and her daughters' personalities with Ming as Opulence, Simmons as Divine, and Aoki as Ethereal.
The brand which was launched on September 1 in spite of the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic was a collaboration between the fashion icon and her two daughters.

Earlier this year, the model revealed that she had actively participated in donating nearly 400,000 meals to the needy during the ongoing pandemic.
The TV personality worked with Freedom Shield, an organization that aided abused women and kids, to assist the homeless and families in need by providing them food and other essentials as well as protective gear for healthcare workers.
The mother of five who has a big heart and love for her community also reduced the prices of her fashion label "Baby Phat," and a percentage of the earnings were given to the Freedom Shield Foundation.
