Ant Anstead Breaks His Silence on Separation from Wife, Christina, with a Heartfelt Message
After being married for about 2 years, Christina Anstead announced that she and Ant Anstead separated. After being silent on the subject for a while, the show host took a moment to update fans.
Ant Anstead took to Instagram to share a beautiful photo of him and his wife with a touching caption to shed some light on the recent news of their separation. A part of the caption read:
"... I never gave up on us. I pray Christina's decision brings her happiness."

Ant seems like a rather private person as there was complete silence on his end until this Instagram post, which also explained the reason for his silence. Another part of his caption read:
"Anyone who really knows me knows that I don't like to share private matters publicly. I have remained silent while holding on to hope…"
The photo was in black and white and showed the former couple in a warm embrace with their heads leaning against each other.
They seemed to be casually dressed as their eyes shone with happiness while they smiled brightly at the camera. Fans were sad to hear the news and they gave various advice and opinions.
The mother of three seemed to be having a hard time with loneliness.
A certain fan wondered if Christina, Ant's wife, had postpartum depression while another said she was letting a good man go.
Some fans prayed for them to get back together while others tried to console and offer support to Ant. A fan said Ant's marriage had helped heal his family while another said it seemed the separation was not mutual.
Christina shared, in an Instagram post, that the two of them had jointly decided to separate while she asked that people respect their privacy. She added that their children remain their priority.
The 37-year-old was previously married to her "Flip or Flop" co-host, Tarek El- Moussa, for about 9 years. She also had two children with him, Taylor and Braden.
Christina reportedly said she felt bad for having to go through two divorces as she never expected even one. She added that she was looking forward to the future and refused to get stuck in the past.
The "Christina on the Coast" star was said to have been feeling lonely before she announced the separation. The couple had a baby, Hudson London, last year September, and this seemed to take a toll on Christina.
Despite the blended family, the mother of three seemed to be having a hard time with loneliness as she had shared earlier that she and Ant couldn't seem to get time alone. The couple also started having conflicts after the birth of Hudson London.
