ANT AND CHRISTINA'S SPLIT
The one photo post showed a rather romantic photo of Christina and Ant Anstead soaking up the evening sun on a beach. The lovely snapshot captured the couple's silhouettes, but the caption told a different story:
"Ant and I made the difficult decision to separate. We are grateful for each other, and as always, our children will remain our priority…"
Christina went on as she addressed fans while soliciting for privacy and support while they go through the divorce proceedings. The couple tied the knot in 2018, and here is a look into their love timeline.
WHEN THEY TIED THE KNOT
Ant and Christina made it a private affair during their winter wonderland-themed wedding where close friends joined them. The duo, who have kids from older relationships, told People that they made their wedding about their children.
Their decision to part ways comes nine months later.
The TV personalities tied the knot in Newport, California, with their blended family close by. While Christina's kids are Brayden and Taylor from her marriage to Tarek El Moussa, Ant's kids are Archie and Amelie from his marriage to Louise Herbert.
THEIR LOVE TIMELINE
Ant and "Flip or Flop's" Christina started their romance towards the end of 2017, but they went public in 2018. Before long, the couple went on fun dates and soon celebrated six months of being together.
Once in an interview, Christina noted that she foresaw getting married to Ant because of how much they had in common. Ant was also ready to be with her as he even asked Prince Harry for marriage tips.
After their secret wedding in 2018, the duo welcomed their first child together the following year. Baby Hudson was born in September 2019, and Christina admitted his arrival was a "big adjustment."
In December of the same year, the media stars celebrated their first anniversary with romantic posts on social media. Their decision to part ways comes nine months later.
