Hollywood Life: Blake Shelton Reflects on Becoming Completely Silver-Haired during Quarantine
COVID-19 lockdown has meant far less time at hair salons, and for Blake Shelton, that meant letting his longtime girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, cut and dye his hair at home.
During a recent interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," country music superstar Blake Shelton reflected on Gwen Stefani dyeing his silver-hued hair and revealed what it looks like now, as reported by Hollywood Life.
"I was like 'oh my god, when did this happen to me?' I never pay attention to my hair, but then we got all this attention, and it was a mile a minute," the 44-year-old explained. "It was completely white! How have I not noticed this?"

Shelton then enlisted the assistance of Stefani to give his crowning glory a makeover. The couple ordered some dye, and Shelton said that he tried it for a while. He recalled:
"I just wasn't doing that right. It just had too much color…she just said, 'let's just do it right.'"
At that point, however, Shelton, who was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2014, said he couldn't have cared less because nobody was going to see him as they were in quarantine.
It turns out Stefani got Shelton's look just perfect for some time. Shelton said that he truly loved it. However, several months later, the singer confessed that he does not love his current hair.
As Shelton removed his baseball cap, the multi-awarded musician told DeGeneres that his hair, which was going gray again, looked awful. But the host replied it's not bad at all.
Shelton told DeGeneres that he and his girlfriend love her very much.

During the pair's conversation, DeGeneres also showed her gratitude to Shelton and Stefani for their support in the midst of her career crisis following allegations of her set being a toxic workplace.
Shelton told DeGeneres that he and his girlfriend love her very much. The host then recalled that the last time she and Shelton had seen each other in person was at the Grammys in Los Angeles in January.
Meanwhile, over the past few months, Shelton, who became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2010, has been staying in Los Angeles with Stefani and her three sons — Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.
The power couple recently performed from their home at the Academy of Country Music Awards. They treated their legion of fans to their hit duet titled "Happy Anywhere."
Prior to the heartwarming performance, Shelton encouraged his fans to keep themselves healthy amid the pandemic. The couple amazed everyone with their rendition of the song.
Shelton and Stefani regularly share sweet tributes to one another on social media. Their romantic tale started in 2014 when they met on the set of "The Voice."
