Former 'Counting on' Star Jill Duggar Opens up about Using Birth Control with Her Husband
A video of a Q&A session featuring Jill Duggar and her husband, Dereck Dilliard, recently surfaced on social media, and in it, the reality star opened up about using birth control.
Jill Duggar recently got candid with her fans in a YouTube Q&A session that she is into family planning. The 29-year-old mother of two revealed that she uses some kind of non-hormonal birth control.
This may seem ironic because she was born into a religious family, and she has 18 siblings; however, Duggar and her hubby have chosen to be more cautious when it comes to making more babies.

Explaining why she opted for the non-hormonal birth control, Duggar stated that it is because she and her husband are more "natural-minded." She said:
"Eventually, we want to have more kids and stuff — lord willing — so we don't want to mess too much with all of that and potentially cause problems."
The beautiful mother did not detail what sort of potential problems she thinks taking hormonal birth control presents, but it must be a healthy fear if she has chosen to steer clear of them.
Her husband, Dilliard, added that Duggar would eventually go off the birth control when they decide to have more kids.
Duggar discussed some personal choices she has made in more recent years.
The couple is already parents to two handsome sons, 5-year-old Israel David, and 3-year-old Samuel Scott. Though Duggar and Dilliard have no qualms about adding more members to their brood, they know their limits. Duggar said:
"...how many? I don't know. I don't know that we have a number. Probably not 20 kids."
Though ironic, it is not unheard of that a Duggar is using birth control. In fact, the TV personality's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have admitted to using it during the early days of their marriage — then they went on to have 19 kids.
Duggar and Dilliard tied the knot back in 2014. Since they got married, the pair shared some of their opinions on topics her conservative family considered a taboo.
In a recent Youtube footage that featured her husband, Duggar discussed some personal choices she has made in more recent years, including getting a nose piercing and a tattoo.
In the video, Duggar revealed that she had always considered nose piercing a cute thing, and when her husband let her know he was cool with it, she went ahead to get one.
Concerning getting tattoos, Duggar stated that she is not against it. Being a sentimental person, the reality thinks she could get one — if she can get past the pain that comes with it.
No matter how they choose to live their life, Duggar and Dilliard's ultimate goal is to glorify God with their actions and decisions. They will approach all decisions they make with an open mind, and they will remain God-fearing no matter what.
