Inside Emma Roberts' Magical Garden-Themed Baby Shower

Emma Roberts is currently expecting her first child with husband Garrett Hedlund. As has become customary, she had an intimate baby shower with family and friends and let fans in on some of the fun.

Over the weekend, actress Emma Roberts took to social media to share several pictures from her baby shower. The actress took over Instagram, sharing clips on her Instagram page and in her Stories.

From some of the party favors available, Roberts confirmed that she and her partner, Garrett Hedlund, will be having a baby boy. It's unclear how many months she's pregnant, although that cute baby bump is getting pretty big.

The event was garden-themed, as Roberts was surrounded by flowers. One clip from her Stories also showed her holding a flower, which a friend sent as a gift.

Thanking everyone, the actress shared a photo of herself on her account. She wore a patterned, flower-print gown with white boots, captioning the picture:

"So grateful to my family and pod for making my pregnancy feel so celebrated during such wild times...”

Roberts' party was an intimate one, with only a few friends and family members. As expected, this limitation was due to social distancing requirements. The American actress even wore a face mask to protect herself, and some of the party favors included face masks for guests.

A source told reporters that the couple was shocked to find out that they were expecting a baby.

All in all, Roberts' baby shower was a successful event. While the actress would most likely have wanted more people to share in the event, it was still special.

According to reports, some attendees at the event included Hedlund and actresses Camilla Morrone and Kristen Stewart. Explaining Roberts' mood, a source said:

"Emma's baby shower was a garden celebration so everyone could social distance [...] She was very excited. She received many wrapped gifts for their baby boy."

News about Roberts' pregnancy first broke in June. At the time, a source told reporters that the couple was shocked to find out that they were expecting a baby.

Despite the initial shock, however, both husband and wife are excited about this journey, but not just them, their families, and close friends are also as excited.

Roberts and Hedlund have been in a pretty steady relationship, with both of them first getting linked last year. The actress had broken her engagement with ex-fiance, Evan Peters, at the time and she soon started dating Hedlund.

It's unclear whether the two have any plans to walk down the aisle soon. However, having a child together shows that they seem to be serious about their relationship.
