Torrei Hart made a name for herself in the entertainment industry not by being the ex-wife of the famous comedian, Kevin Hart but with her talents as an actress. The mother-of-two recently celebrated her mother's birthday with a beautiful tribute on Instagram.

The "American Bad Boy" actress uploaded a picture of herself posing with her arms around her mother in a warm embrace. The resemblance between the pair was undeniable as they wore matching black outfits.

The 42-year-old and her mother also donned similar silver necklaces that had the names "Torrei" and "Rae" written on their respective pendants.

The "Atlanta Exes" star captioned the sweet post with an emotional message where she expressed her love and appreciation for her mother who she described as the "most amazing woman in the world." The comedian's post received much love from fans who wished her mother well in the comment section.

Aside from her admiration for her mother, there are a few things fans might not know about the "Almost Amazing" actress.

The ex-wife of Kevin Hart was born on February 28, 1978, in North Philadelphia, and raised in southern New Jersey. The TV star had a talent for comedy so she enrolled in a community college to pursue her dreams but found love instead.

The actress dropped out of college with Kevin to go to Hollywood and the pair got married in 2003. The couple was blessed with two children - daughter, Heaven, and son, Hendrix.
