Tim McGraw Has at Least 5 Tattoos Including an Ichthys AKA Jesus Fish — Glimpse at 3 of Them
Famous singer Tim McGraw has expressed himself through his great music for many years as well as through his tattoos, most of which have great meaning behind them.
It might have been clear for fans to see that Tim McGraw loves to express himself through his songs. However, many do not know that he also likes expressing himself through his tattoos.
The famous singer had at least 5 tattoos done all over his body in different places, some which prying eyes would seldom see and some that were plain to see.

McGraw got his first tattoo at the age of 22, and he confessed that it might not have been his brightest idea. It was 3 am in New Orleans, he was 22 and loving life. So, he went on ahead to get a tattoo of a leprechaun wearing a cowboy hat on his thigh.
The tattoos that followed cowboy hat-wearing leprechaun included a DHD ( which stood for Dancehall Doctors, his band) on his ankle. While getting the ink done on his ankle in 2008, the singer told People about his wife, Faith Hill's reaction to his body art. He said:
"I don't know if my wife is going to like this! She'll say, 'I'm not your mother!"
After many years of marriage, the singer's wife had come to take his rather surprising macho pursuits in stride. She knew that sometimes, he just loved to act like one of the boys.
The most heartwarming of all was the special tattoo on his right bicep

Much to Hill's chagrin, McGraw had more. He had an Ichthys, also called a Jesus Fish, inked inside his right arm. That one made quite a lot of appearances when he donned clothing with short sleeves.
As one might expect, McGraw, an admirable family man, also had some of his tattoos dedicated to his family. The 53-year-old dad had a cross with the initials of his daughters, Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey, at each point, done on his left bicep.
The most heartwarming of all was the special tattoo on his right bicep, a beautiful inking of the word, "Faith," his wife's name. McGraw married his beautiful and talented wife, Hill, in 1996. Together, their careers soared along with their inspiring love story.
According to them, the secret to keeping their romance alive was dedication. The power couple admitted that a lot had changed since they first got married, but the little things went a long way.
Hill revealed that they always pray before going on stage together. They made time for date nights, they spent more time together, and they also give themselves alone time to retreat and spend time with their individual selves.
The American country singer Hill might not have liked McGraw's tattoo, but she sure did love the man who wore them, and he definitely wore them well.
