Derek Hough Reflects on DWTS Performance with His Girlfriend, Hayley Erbert in a Heartfelt Post

"DWTS" star Derek Hough graced the dance floor once more with an amazing performance with his girlfriend Hayley Erbert and shared his thoughts about the moment with an emotional message on Instagram.

Derek Hough is a professional dancer and six-time winner of the celebrity dance show "Dancing With The Stars." The dancer gave a remarkable performance with his girlfriend, Hayley Erbert, and reflected on the moment with a heartwarming post on Instagram.

The "DWTS" star uploaded a video which captured his dance with Erbert to the song by Taalbi Brothers, "Uccen." The footage showed Hough dressed in an all-black ensemble and his partner looked equally as stunning in a dress designed with stones and red flower patterns.

The clip showed the couple on a stage illuminated by red lights, flames, and other special effects as they danced. The entertainer captioned the post with an appreciation message to "DWTS" for giving him a spotlight. He ended the caption with the words:

"DWTS has given so much for so many years allowing a community of dancers to thrive. Including myself. Feeling full of gratitude and appreciation this morning."

Hough's performance on the show marked his return to the dance floor after he left in 2016 during the 23rd season and for the show's 29th season he replaced Len Goodman as a judge.

[Hough] stayed for 17 seasons before he left ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" to join Jennifer Lopez and Ne-Yo as a judge on the NBC show "World Of Dance."

The dancer holds the highest number of wins on the show and his relationship with Erbert began the same year she joined the show as a troupe member in 2015, but she left in 2019 after she was removed from "DWTS".

The couple's chemistry was undeniable during their sensational routine that left many in awe of the pair. Derek's sister, Julianne Hough was also a dancer on the show for many years.

The 35-year-old professional dancer stayed for 17 seasons before he left ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" to join Jennifer Lopez and Ne-Yo as a judge on the NBC show "World Of Dance."

As for his relationship, the dancer revealed earlier this year that the lockdown period brought he and Erbert closer as a couple and they also started a YouTube channel.

After the announcement of their performance, the couple assured fans during an episode on their YouTube channel that a "DWTS" proposal would not be happening. Hough also clarified this during an interview that an engagement with Erbert was not a part of his plans for now.
