This week, actor and wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson got himself injured while doing one of his intense workouts. In a video post, the star explained how his injury happened.
On Monday, October 26, 2020, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson shared a video of himself with a small face injury. The “Jumanji” actor got hurt while doing one of his intense workout sessions at his gym.
He candidly revealed that injuries were sometimes a part of his exercises and they were expected in the home gym, which he called the “Iron Paradise.” Showing how this was the norm for him, the star seemed quite calm.

Johnson, 48, joked that his workout wasn’t him playing “tiddlywinks” or reciting “nursery rhymes.” He confessed that it did get quite intense and explained how he got the injury writing:
“Threw around my 50lb chains for a drop set - I got lumped up and need stitches.”
At one point during the video, the WWE wrestler brushed a finger against his face to get a taste of his blood. Johnson had some blood trickling down the side of his face just next to his eye.
After having a taste of his blood, he joked that it tasted very good before laughing and cutting off the recording. In the caption of his post, he revealed that he was going to continue with his training and would get himself stitched up later.
The star also jokingly stated how his blood tasted like his personal brand of tequila called Teremana, calluses, hot sauce, and what he called BlaMoan. The last word was a mix of the words Black and Samoan, which happens to be his ethnic tribe.
Last week, before his injury, Johnson shared a cute photo of himself when he was still in puberty.
He ended his post by encouraging his fans to have a productive week and urged them to keep things light and fun. Johnson also pushed his followers to go after their dreams relentlessly.
The “Walking Tall” actor built his home gym on his farm in Virginia, according to “Men’s Health.” However, he also has another home gym at his home in Miami, Florida, which he also calls the “Iron Paradise.”
Johnson once gave his fans a tour of the gym on the farm via Instagram. The actor revealed to his fans that the Virginia gym was actually built on Civil War land that was protected by the United States law.
Last week, before his injury, Johnson shared a cute photo of himself when he was still in puberty. The throwback image was uploaded on Thursday and it showed the star when he was just an 11-year-old boy in 1983 wearing his father’s wrestling belts.
His recent injury came a few weeks after he announced that he and his wife, Lauren Hashian had recovered from their infection from the novel coronavirus disease. Their two daughters Jasmine, 4, and Tiana, 2, are now also safe.
